Exclusive Interview With Qsafe
Today we’re here to share a brand new business that has hit the Worcester streets, owner of Ellis Campbell & Co has launched a new virtual queuing system that it going to change the game all together.
Tell me about your business: QSafe is a unique virtual queuing app.
A client goes to a location eg: barber shop, nail bar, makeup or beauty counter and scans their QR code and selects the service/team member they would like (if they have a preference), they are then entered into the shop/salon virtual queue allowing the customer to head off and go and do whatever they like, taking the queue with them, until a member of staff sends them a notification to let the customer know they are up next and to head back.
How did you start your business:
After shutting my barber shop at the end of March due to COVID-19 I have been thinking about different ways to support my shop reopening when it is safe to do so. Like many others, we do not operate a booking system and needed to come up with an alternative as people can no longer gather together in queues and waiting areas due to social distancing. That’s when I came up with the idea for QSafe.
What top 3 words describe you best:
Ambitious, Driven, affable.
What is the best USP about tote current business:
Most importantly social, Distancing and keeping people safe! Also, People hate waiting Qsafe you can take the queue with you, time is so precious now and our lives are getting busier. Iv seen it first hand in the shop when a clients partner is waiting for them and it can be a long time to hang around. I know how this feels when my fiancé goes to get some makeup bits and those counters are so busy and you just have to hang about waiting to be seen. No more, join the virtual queue allowing you to go off and do what you like utilising your time.
Favourite local restaurant and shop:
That’s a tough one!!!!! I have 2, my pal Alex is the head chef at the crown in hallow which is a lovely spot especially in the sun with family and the pups but also during lock down we’ve been having date nights where we bring the restaurant to us at home, so we order from Martin Lovell pro chef services. He does a menu release at the start of every week for weekend delivery’s it’s incredible. It’s very bouji and great if you want some fine dining.
And my favourite shop is Jingo clothing! no doubt! They have unreal garms. I like Keep it local, mike & his team are awesome. Love them guys.
What motivates you:
I am my biggest motivator to be honest. I believe that you have to go out and make your own success, no one else can get you in that mind set it has to come from you! I am my own worst critic and I’m only in competition with myself which drives me towards my goals.
What exciting things are happening in your business:
Qsafe virtual queuing app! People will no longer have to sit in the shop for hours waiting for a trim, they can go about their day but taking the queue with them. It’s Revolutionary! I really cannot wait for this to go live very soon!!!!
What demotivates you?
Nothing!!! I don’t believe in “win or loose” for me it’s always “win or learn”
That is the mindset I live by. If I didn’t, I would have probably been too afraid to do so many other things over the years.
