Armstrongs Celebrates 250 Years!
Armstrong celebrates 250 years of fantastic business, loyal customers and great experiences. A retail shop offering not just clothing but an experience, showing the buying clothes doesn’t have to be dull but a great personal experience to the shopper.
Guests across the region joined the owners of Worcestershire menswear retailer Armstrongs for an evening of fashion and fundraising to mark the business’ 250th anniversary.
Armstrongs, which has stores in Sansome Walk, Worcester and High Street, Broadway, is believed to be the oldest business in the county and has been styling gentleman across the region since the days of George III.
Members of the county’s business and media communities acted as models for the evening, showcasing some of the new Autumn/Winter collections arriving in store, while guests also had the chance to win a £250 makeover at the store by taking part in a raffle in aid of St Richard’s Hospice.
Simon Hyslop, owner of Armstrongs, said: “I’d like to thank everyone who joined us for the celebrations. It was great to see a real mix of people there, from well-known faces to new visitors to the store, and we’re delighted that the raffle and sales of our anniversary t-shirts raised over £300 for St Richard’s Hospice on the night.”
